The cold days of winter are a perfect excuse to head to the Berkshires for an evening of entertainment at the Infinity Theater in Norfolk, Connecticut, located just 20 minutes southeast of the Sheffield House Bed and Breakfast.
Originally built in 1883 as a combination of opera house, barber shop and saloon, the venue has been lovingly renovated while retaining many of the original features, including its proscenium stage. More than 200 music and entertainment shows are held here each year.
The variety of performances is as varied as the audiences’ tastes. A sampling of January shows includes:
Riders of the Storm – The Ultimate Doors Tribute Band, January 11
The Spirit of Johnny Cash, January 12
Changes in Latitudes – America’s Premier Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show, January 25,
And Arrival from Sweden – The Music of ABBA, January 31, 8:00 p.m.
You’ll find a full listing of upcoming winter shows on the Theater’s website.
Evening shows begin at 8:00 p.m., allowing plenty of time to enjoy dinner and drinks before in the venue’s Bistro restaurant. The Bistro offers both dinner and lighter fare menus, so whether you want just a salad or steak and shrimp, you’ll find something great to eat.
