Classics co-mingle with innovative dishes on the menu at Number 10, a modern day steakhouse and bar in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, that invites customers “unwind, celebrate, and explore.”
An antique mahogany bar and cozy booths made from reclaimed church pews set the mood in the bar which is known for having the largest selection of American whiskey in the Berkshires. Not a whiskey fan? The bar also has a great selection of classic crafted cocktails, wines, beers and old world ciders. The bar has music most Friday and Saturday evenings and a monthly special event. Upcoming is an American Whiskey Tasting on December 10, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The dining room oozes comfort with a gallery of black and white photos lining the walls and handmade wood or white-linen topped tables, a perfect setting to settle in and enjoy a delicious dinner. Steakhouse classics are the specialty here and the choices include five steaks, including porterhouse or chateaubriand for two. Enjoy these and other classic entrees with a selection of sauces and favorite side dishes, such as creamed spinach.
Number Ten seeks out local suppliers with a focus on grass raised, antibiotic free, hormone free, and sustainability. And the well-rounded menu makes it easy to satisfy a range of tastes, with a choice of starters that include poutine (a hearty layering of fries, cheese curds, braised meat and gravy) and Cuban egg rolls. Other entrees include burgers, pasta, and scallops. Save room for dessert! The restaurant has some yummy ones, such as a salted caramel filled chocolate tart.
