It seems hard to imagine now, but fall is just around the corner and that means Harvest Time at the Berkshire Botanical Gardens, October 6-7, 2018, in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.
The annual autumn fest encompasses the entire 15-acre site with a range of activities for all ages. Included in the two-day event are live entertainment, a tag and plant sale, more than 100 regional artisan vendors, educational offerings, and a whole host of children’s activities.
While the fest is the main focus, the weekend is also a wonderful excuse to explore the beautiful gardens. Among the oldest gardens in the region, Berkshire Botanical Gardens emphasizes plants that are native to the Northeast. After touring the beautiful outdoor spaces, step inside the Gardens’ Center House to explore the galleries of horticulture-inspired art.
The Harvest Fest winds down the 2018 season at the Botanical Gardens, leaving us in anticipation its opening again next May.
