This handsome colonial two-story Berkshires B&B is located in historic Sheffield, MA. Sheffield is in the beautiful Berkshire mountain region of western Massachusetts. Built in 1817 for Reverend James Bradford, third pastor of the Old Parish Church in town, it has served as both a family home and as an inn throughout the years. If this old house could talk it would tell of children’s laughter, community festivities and satisfied guests. Today the Staveleigh House is an inviting Berkshires B&B offering guests a comfortable place to relax after a busy week. It is also the perfect place from which to explore this area’s rich heritage, natural beauty, and cultural attractions.
Our Sheffield, MA bed and breakfast has seven unique and charming rooms, all with private baths, air conditioning, and WiFi access. The two first floor rooms have private entrances to the outside. These two rooms are also pet-friendly. Guests are welcome to use the living room to entertain friends or relax with a good book.
Breakfast is served in our Berkshires B&B each morning from 8 am until 10 am in the sunlit dining room. This delicious start to the day includes juice, a fruit course and breakfast favorites such as French toast, frittatas, and Belgian waffles. We brew coffee from beans roasted in the area. Fresh eggs, vegetables, and pure maple syrup come from local farms. We can accommodate special dietary needs.
